The Art
Mlle Belamour
Mlle Belamour is an artist and illustrator from the Caribbean Island of Guadeloupe. Mlle has always considered drawing to be her secret world and now it's her career. After graduating with a degree in Art and Design at the University of Toulouse she achieved an MA in Art Direction for the Web at Ecole Multimedia in Paris, after which she worked as an art director and web designer in France and Britain. Mlle's approach is to 'make it beautiful. make it colourful. give it some attitude.' Her work aims to awaken the senses, spread joy, highlight injustice, and take viewers on an ebullient and imaginative journey. Mlle's style combines delicate line work, powerful forms and bouncing colours, inviting viewers to feel the moment she has captured. Some previous clients Mlle has worked with include Warner Music, Vice, Harper Collins, RED and Hershey's.
